Our team delivered a highly complex interior fit-out at the Martin Luther King Library, featuring over 1,000,000 SF of gypsum board, extensive custom ceilings, and intricate millwork. The project required exceptional craftsmanship, collaboration with multiple trades, and precise execution to achieve both aesthetic and functional design goals.

- Gypsum Board & Partitions:
- Installed over 1,000,000 SF of gypsum board across more than 4 miles of interior partitions, ranging from standard walls to intricate radius and high-performance assemblies,
- Specialty Ceilings:
- Custom Clipso Artwork Ceiling – 3rd Floor Adult Services Room
- Sonaspray Spray Plaster Ceilings – Egress Stairways
- K-13 Acoustical Spray Ceilings – A Level
- Filzfelt Felt Ceilings – 2nd & 3rd Floor Learning Labs
- Starsilent Framing – throughout designated areas
- 3-Dimensional Monumental Stairs & Custom Skylight Ceilings
- Armstrong Metalworks Ceiling – 30,000 SF of 2x4 torsion spring system onthe 1st Floor, requiring close coordination with electrical systems and abundant integrated lighting.
- Custom ACT Ceilings:
- Over 100,000 SF of Armstrong Lyra vector edge tile
- Approximately 4,000 LF of custom tiles for lights and diffusers
- 45,000 LF of custom edge molding, fabricated from 100% custom break-metal to match historic dimensions
- Elaborate multi-iteration design process to meet the historic requirements and accommodate radius partitions
